Another trip to Neilston after a long time of no proper climbing.. Least Rory wore a helmet this time!

We headed to Kinlochleven to the indoor ice wall (largest in the world!)
had a 2 hour “hit the ice” session. Was excellent fun!

Neilston Quarry is about 10 miles south of glasgow. It has easy climbs and anchors for top roping – great for learning lead climbing (not that we can do that yet!) Click here for better pictures and route descriptions.

Tips of the day: remember to check your harness. Rory, don’t stand on the rope and get a helmet!!!
